Land of soybean and coconut

A coastal district on the Meghna that grows much of the country's soybean. The Meghna bank at Ramgati and Khoa Sagar Dighi are local outings.

• Coconut and betel nut — Coconut and betel nut from coastal groves, the district's main crops.
